When I saw this, I thought to myself: “Look at those cobblestones. I’ve been there. I’ve trod those stones. Like so many others, for so long, I’ve set foot there in that place of camaraderie and show, of fire and electricity, of nights and days. I’ve been there and long to be again and that I share with so many strangers, some of whom I’ll never know and a few I might see and nod at and smile when I return… to Edinburgh.”
