The Hours You Get Back

That first hour of your day, today, is gone. It’s not coming back. You can remember it or forget it, picture it or block it out, but that hour is always going be stuck between the hours on either side of it, back at the beginning of this morning, no matter how far you go or how often you look back. You never get those hours back.

So, when you say, “That’s an hour of my life I’ll never get back,” remember that’s true for every hour. They’re not coming back.
