This is the first of what I hope will be a series of segments featured on G4’s Attack of the Show, where I talk about board games.

I cannot say how excited I am that this exists.

In this debut edition of what should be (it should be!) a recurring segment, Rich Sommer looks at one of my favorite recent board games, at a crazy-popular online phenom, and at a game I still haven’t played co-created by one of my favorite designers, Eric Lang. What games are these? Watch the video and place your guesses.

  4. This is a post about PAX Prime, which is suddenly upon us.

Read up on Wil’s plans for PAX Prime, including a special PAX edition of the 80+ page chapbook, “Games Matter,” which I designed, now featuring the complete text of Wil’s past PAX keynotes, plus lots of great stories and meditations on games, gaming, and gamerdom.

  6. Bought a book of mythic and legendary castles, illustrated by Alan Lee, for $5 at the Printer’s Row book fair. For some reason, I’m as excited for this book as I was for David Macaulay’s Castles or any work of Alan Lee’s when I was a boy. It has entries for everything from Asgard to Kafka to Minas Tirith!
